LGBTQIA+ Listening Session

Participants at this listening session shared that LGBTQIA+ communities are experiencing heightened challenges due to political discrimination, harmful legislation, funding cuts, and a lack of supportive spaces and culturally responsive services. To address these pressures, participants emphasized the need for greater investment in community-centered resources, affirming providers, and a potential statewide training program to help LGBTQIA+ people advocate for their behavioral health needs.
