The Behavioral Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission (Commission), formerly the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission, is seeking experienced Contractors to work with immigrant and refugee populations. The purpose of the contracts are to support advocacy, training and education, and outreach and engagement for immigrants and refugees to increase knowledge and awareness of behavioral health needs, increase the number of culturally appropriate services and supports, increase access to evidence based practices, and provide opportunities for advocacy at the state and local levels on behalf of immigrant and refugee populations in California.
The Commission is releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award contracts to seven (7) Local Organizations to conduct advocacy, training and education, and outreach and engagement activities on behalf of Immigrant and Refugee populations, as authorized by the Commission at its meeting on November 21, 2024. Each contract awarded will be for $502,500.
